In this comedy, Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) are life-long acquaintances who virtually spoil everything by having sex one morning. In rank to look after their fellowship, they make a pact to retain their bond stringently "no twine attached." "No strings" signifies no jealousy, no prospects, no conflicting, no blooms, no baby voices. It signifies they can perform no matter what they like, every time they like, in no matter what public position they like, as long as they don't plunge in love. The queries become - Can you have sex without love getting in the way? And can their fellowship survive?
